Reading Family Justice Professionals Mark Good Divorce Week

WEEK 2021 WITH FREE ADVICE SESSIONS

Hewetts Solicitors in Reading are showing their support for Good Divorce Week 2021 by offering free advice sessions to families.

Good Divorce Week, (29 Nov - 3 Dec) is an annual campaign that aims to promote practical and constructive ways for separating parents to put the needs of their children first. It’s organised by Resolution, a community of more than 6,500 family justice professionals.

“Family relationships have come under immense pressure since the start of the pandemic and we know that the children of parents who separate can find the experience one of the most challenging and impactful of their lives,” Madeleine Young of Reading-based Hewetts Solicitors commented.

“That’s why Resolution launched the Parenting Through Separation Guide, a free resource containing information, advice and support to help parents in their parenting journey through separation, divorce and beyond.”

“At Hewetts, we want to get the guide, and the information contained within it, in the hands of as many separating families as possible.”

Resolution member Madeleine Young of Hewetts Solicitors is offering free advice sessions during Good Divorce Week.

Speaking about the campaign she said, “It’s very difficult for parents when they make that tough decision to separate, and often there is a significant impact upon children. That’s why I am delighted to support Good Divorce Week to promote a constructive approach to this often emotionally charged matter.

“Far too many families put off getting early professional legal advice when it comes to divorce. The free 30 minute sessions we are offering will give separating couples the confidence and knowledge to make the best decisions for them and their family.
