Possession Claim Issue Fees

Per the Court and Tribunal Fees (Miscellaneous Amendments) Order 2024 many fees payable to HM Courts and Tribunal Service in connection with civil litigation will be increasing.

With effect from 1 May 2024, the fee for issuing a possession claim in the county court will increase from £355 to £391 (£598 for the High Court). The fee for a warrant of possession will rise from £130 to £143. The fee for lodging an appeal in the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) will increase from £220 to £242 and for issuing a claim in the First-Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) will increase from £100 to £110.
