Minimum Wage Increase - 2018

As part of its annual review of the national minimum wage, the government has laid new regulations* before Parliament proposing increases to the minimum hourly rate. The proposals have not yet been brought into law but will be effective from 1 April 2018 if approved.

Workers aged 25+ - £7.83 (previously £7.50)
Workers aged 21-24 - £7.38 (previously £7.05)
Workers aged 18-20 - £5.90 (previously £5.60)
Workers aged under 18 - £4.20 (previously £4.05)

The accommodation offset will be £7.00 per day (previously £6.40).
