As of the 1 February 2013, for all employment law claims where the dismissal occurred after 1 February, the caps placed on redundancy entitlement and unfair dismissal award have been increased.
The maximum statutory redundancy entitlement has increased from £430 to £450 per week.
The maximum cap on compensation awards for unfair dismissal raise from £72,300.00 to £74,200.00.
