Caught Out By Speed Cameras?

ROAD TRAFFIC OFFENCES

I suspect we are all fed up of hearing about the credit crunch. So a little light relief this time as I intend to chat about legal issues that have nothing to do with the credit crunch!

The ever-increasing number of speed cameras means that statistically, sooner or later, it is likely you are going to be caught out. I know that every time I am close to getting rid of 3 points on my licence I seem to acquire another 3, usually for doing 35mph in a 30mph area! I am sure many of you will have suffered from the same thing. The point about speeding offences is that it really matters when you are likely to lose your licence. If you already have 9 points then there is a real danger that the next time you will face a ban for 12 months. This will have a considerable impact on you not only in terms of getting around generally, as clearly you will have to resort to friends and family and public transport, but it will seriously impact upon your job. This in turn impacts upon family life. If you lose your job as a result, the consequences are very serious indeed.

Road Traffic Offences have now become a very technical legal area and we are able to offer you help advice and assistance through the process, and if necessary representation at Court. We have recently been involved in a number of cases successfully saving our Clients their licences!

So there we have it, a little bit of light relief, nothing about the credit crunch.
