Expert Legal Advice on Discrimination, Bullying and Harassment for Employees

Legal Advice on Discrimination for Employees

Discrimination can often manifest itself in subtle ways and as a result, cases of discrimination can be complex.

If you believe that you are a victim of discrimination, bullying or harassment, you should obtain specialist legal advice as soon as possible.

Under current discrimination laws, it is unlawful to discriminate on the following grounds:

  • Age
  • Disability
  • Gender reassignment
  • Marriage or civil partnership
  • Pregnancy and maternity
  • Race
  • Religion or belief
  • Sexual orientation

Harassment or bullying in relation to any of the above is also unlawful.

We have acted for a significant number of individuals on workplace discrimination issues. We can advise you on:

  • Raising your complaints (both formally and informally) in the appropriate way
  • Guidance throughout the grievance process, including drafting and/or reviewing relevant documentation
  • Issuing a claim in the Employment Tribunal
  • Settlement terms or, if need be, representation at a hearing

It is not uncommon for discrimination claims to overlap with other areas such as unfair dismissal. Getting clarity on your legal rights is important to us.
