Employment Law

Commuters in a busy street

We can offer advice on all aspects of employment law for both employers and employees. We can help you with claims of discrimination on the basis of sex, race, age, religion and disability; act for you on any issues arising from dismissal; or offer advice on your employment contract. We aim to solve your problem with the minimum fuss and the least expense. Hewetts has a lot of experience advising individuals on possible claims, as well as with helping employers initiate schemes to help avoid legal issues in the first place. We regularly represent clients in employment tribunals and employment appeals tribunals.

Are you being bullied at work and can’t stand it any longer?

  • Have you been treated differently because of your Race, Sex, Religious Belief or Sexual Orientation?
  • Do you have a disability and your employers have not made allowances?
  • Have you been dismissed in circumstances that you think are unfair?
  • Have you suffered an injury at work?

You may be entitled to compensation!

We are able to tailor our arrangements to suit your personal financial needs. THE OBJECTIVE IS TO RESOLVE YOUR EMPLOYMENT PROBLEMS AND, WHERE APPROPRIATE, ENABLE YOU TO OBTAIN COMPENSATION WITHOUT YOUR INCURRING LEGAL COSTS.

We are Members of the Association of Employment Lawyers and have considerable experience in conducting a vast range of claims including:

  • Unfair Dismissal Claim
  • Sex, Race, Religious and Disability Discrimination claims
  • Redundancy matters
  • Compromise Agreements
  • Injuries sustained at work

You should note that you only have 3 months from the date of termination of your Employment in which to bring a claim. It is therefore important that you act quickly and contact us to make an appointment as soon as possible.

A refundable fee of £70 is required for the interview. This will be credited against your final account should the matter proceed further. If the matter does not progress any further the fee is retained to pay for the interview.
