Rise in Professional Negligence Claims

In recent months we have seen a marked increase in cases against former advisors for bad advice. This might be against your accountant, surveyor, independent financial advisor or even legal advisor. Typically more and more unqualified companies are entering the market on the pretext of offering legal services. This is vey much the case with those companies who set themselves up as employment law specialists and HR consultants. Always seek advice from a qualified solicitor. Do not be fooled into getting advice from unqualified companies. You will get what you pay for.

In 2011 there will be more of these companies coming into the market place as a result of a change in the law that will allow them to do so. We take the view that we will see a huge increase in negligence claims against such companies for providing wrong advice. If you think you have been badly advised, contact us straight away. The quicker you contact us the more likely we will be able to do something about it and perhaps prevent the situation getting any worse.
